Characteristics:

• Battery capacity and performance: AGM has more electrolytes due to gelling agent, providing 7%-8% more duration capacity. AGM also has a lower internal drop for longer runs despite high discharge rates.
• Elevated temperature: AGM battery is more efficient in oxygen recombination cycle, drawing 50% more float current. Gel cell is 15% more efficient in heat conduction due to complete contact with container walls.
